Ambassador of the Kyrgyz Republic to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Ulukbek Maripov met with the Secretary General of the Gulf Cooperation Council Nayef Falah Mubarak Al-Hajraf

On June 7, 2022 in Riyadh the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kyrgyz Republic to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Mr. Ulukbek Maripov met with the Secretary General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Mr. Nayef Falah Mubarak Al-Hajraf.

The parties discussed the prospects of cooperation between the Kyrgyz Republic and the GCC, which are of mutual interest, and the most topical issues on the regional and international agenda.

The parties confirmed the common desire to develop political, trade and economic, investment, cultural and humanitarian cooperation between the Kyrgyz Republic and the GCC.

At the end of the meeting, the parties agreed to continue close coordinated work in order to promote the reached agreements and organize high-level mutual visits.

For reference: The Gulf Cooperation Council was established on May 25, 1981 and includes six states - United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, Oman, Qatar and Kuwait.
