On October 16, 2019 in Nur Sultan the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic Chingiz Aidarbekov held a bilateral meeting with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan Mukhtar Tleuberdi.

The heads of Foreign Affairs Ministries discussed in detail the state and prospects of Kyrgyz-Kazakh cooperation, as well as preparations for the upcoming state visit of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan K.Tokayev to the Kyrgyz Republic.

Ch. Aidarbekov emphasized that maintaining good neighborly and friendly relations with Kazakhstan is one of the main priorities of the country's foreign policy.

The parties agreed that the deputy ministers of foreign affairs of Kyrgyzstan and Kazakhstan will soon hold inter-ministerial consultations in Bishkek with the participation of representatives of competent departments.
