On October 29, 2019 the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic Chingiz Aidarbekov received the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Marat Syzdykov, who arrived in Bishkek to participate in the Kyrgyz-Kazakh inter-MFA consultations.

During the meeting, the parties discussed pressing issues of bilateral cooperation between the Kyrgyz Republic and the Republic of Kazakhstan, the preparations for the upcoming state visit of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan K. Tokayev to the Kyrgyz Republic and outlined the prospects for further cooperation.
