Kyrgyz-Kazakh inter-MFA consultations were held in Bishkek

On October 29-30, 2019 in Bishkek Kyrgyz-Kazakh inter-MFA consultations were held at the level of the First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic Nuran Niyazaliev and the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan Marat Syzdykov with the participation of representatives of the responsible state bodies of the parties.

During the consultations, a wide range of topical issues of bilateral cooperation in the political, trade, economic, water-energy and cultural-humanitarian spheres, as well as tourism development between the two countries were discussed. Special attention is paid to issues of cross-border cooperation, in particular, improving the work of checkpoints and the unhindered movement of goods across the Kyrgyz-Kazakh state border.

The parties considered the schedule of upcoming meetings and visits at the highest and highest levels, including in the framework of inter-parliamentary cooperation, exchanged views on issues of interaction within the framework of international and regional organizations.

The inter-MFA consultations held on the eve of the state visit of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan K.Tokayev to the Kyrgyz Republic, scheduled for November this year, allowed the parties to compare the hours on key issues and outline the prospects for further cooperation.

Following the talks, the parties agreed to continue mutually beneficial cooperation in the spirit of friendship and good neighborliness, alliance and strategic partnership.
