On November 5 2019, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kyrgyz Republic to the Republic of Kazakhstan Zh.Kulubaev, took part in the Forum of National Cultural Centers of the countries of the Conference on Interaction and Confidence Building Measures in Asia “Civil Society in the CICA Space: State and Development Prospects”, which was held at the Academy Public Administration under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, and made a report in which he acquainted the Forum participants on the development of civil society in the Kyrgyz Republic.

The event was greeted by Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan E.Ashikbaev, representative of the Executive Director of the CICA Secretariat S.Darmendra, Vice Minister of Information and Social Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Deputy Chairman of the Assembly of Peoples of Kazakhstan (ANC) - Head of the ANC Secretariat of the Presidential Administration Kazakhstan Zh.Tuimebayev. In addition, Ambassadors Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Korea, Pakistan, Azerbaijan and other countries in the Republic of Kazakhstan took part in the Forum.

During the forum, a draft Concept for the Development of Civil Society in the Republic of Kazakhstan was presented.

After the plenary session "The Role of Civil Society in Strengthening Public Accord. The Experience of the CICA Countries", work continued within the panel sections "Prospects for the Development of Civil Society" and "Youth and Communication Mechanisms in Civil Society".
