From 23 to 24 April 2021, the Ambassador of the Kyrgyz Republic to the Republic of Korea Dinara Kemelova took part in a “Wellness culture and Industry Sharing Cinference”, which was organized by the administration of the South Korean county of Hamyang.

The conference was attended by Ambassadors of 9 states accredited in Seoul. Within the framework of the Conference, presentations of the tourism potential of the countries represented were held, as well as the exchange of experience in the development of infrastructure, agriculture, health tourism and promotion of local products.

Mayor of Hamyang informed about the planned from September 9 to October 10 this year Wild Ginseng Anti-aging Expo Hamyang. He invited the Embassies to participate in this event. The ambassadors also got acquainted with the South Korean company Edison Motors, which produces city buses fully powered by electric motors, as well as local environmentally friendly products.

A bilateral meeting of Ambassador Dinara Kemelova with the Mayor of Hamyang County Seo Chun Su were held, where the parties discussed the possibility of cooperation between the regions of the Kyrgyz Republic and South Korea. Presenting the potential of Naryn, the Ambassador proposed to establish twinning relations between Naryn city and Hamyang county, promote joint projects for agricultural products processing, smart farms, as well as attract of the Kyrgyz citizens to work in Hamyang under the EPS system and for seasonal agricultural work.
