President Moon Jae-In congratulated D. Kemelova on her appointment and noted that the Republic of Korea and Kyrgyzstan have a lot in common, the peoples of the two countries resemble each other.

Ambassador Dinara Kemelova noted the historical friendship between the Kyrgyz Republic and the Republic of Korea. “The Kyrgyzstan highly appreciates cooperation with the Republic of Korea and regards it as the important and priority partner in Asian region,” - said D. Kemelova. She expressed gratitude to the Korean side for supporting the Kyrgyz Republic in democratic reforms and building a democratic society.

The President of the Republic of Korea expressed satisfaction with the assistance provided by South Korea in democratic reforms in Kyrgyzstan.

The Kyrgyz side expressed interest in increasing trade and economic cooperation with the Republic of Korea, especially in terms of exports of environment-friendly products from Kyrgyzstan to South Korea. D.Kemelova offered the Korean side to participate in promoting development projects of Kyrgyz regions and the digitalization of the country. Moreover, Kyrgyz side offered to expand education opportunities for Kyrgyz specialists in the Republic of Korea.

The sides expressed satisfaction with the annual increase in the number of tourists from the Republic of Korea to Kyrgyzstan. “Kyrgyzstan is famous for its beautiful nature, the Alpine mountains, which are the basis of the trend of increasing the number of South Korean tourists to Kyrgyzstan. Of course, this fact will trigger the opening of direct flights between the capitals of our two countries,” - assured the President Moon Jae-In.
