Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kyrgyz Republic to the Republic of Korea Dinara Kemelova met with the Dean of Sungkyunkwan University Mr. Tai Myoung Chung оn March 27, 2019.

Ambassador D. Kemelova noting the state policy aimed at digitalizing the country, as well as developing human resources, asked for assistance in increasing of educational programs for Kyrgyzstan.

During the meeting, parties discussed the possibility of presenting scholarship master programs at Sungkyunkwan for the Kyrgyz Republic citizens who wish to study in the field of IT.

 The sides discussed the possibilities of conclusion inter university cooperation agreements.

During the meeting, the Korean side informed about the plans to send a group of professors and students of the Sungkyunkwan University to Kyrgyzstan in order to exchange knowledge and train school teachers, as well as students of the universities of the Kyrgyz Republic in the field of ICT.
