On September 27, 2021, the Ambassador of the Kyrgyz Republic to the Republic of Korea Dinara Kemelova met with the newly appointed Executive Vice President of the Korea Foundation Mr. Jong kook Rhee.

During the meeting, an exchange of views took place on the upcoming events in 2021 within the framework of the Central Asia - Republic of Korea Forum. Ambassador Dinara Kemelova noted the important role of the Secretariat as the executive body of the Central Asia - Republic of Korea Forum and expressed hope for the further implementation of joint projects in Kyrgyzstan in the field of economy, health and education. In particular, Ambassador requested assistance in increasing the number of quotas and scholarships for Kyrgyz students wishing to study in Korea.

Mr. Jong kook Rhee, in turn, expressed his readiness for further fruitful cooperation within the framework of the Forum. In addition, Jong kook Rhee informed that one of his top priority is to expand cooperation in the field of public diplomacy.
