The Ambassador of the Kyrgyz Republic Aida Ismailova discussed the possibility of attracting Kyrgyz citizens to seasonal agricultural work

Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kyrgyz Republic to the Republic of Korea Aida Ismailova met with a delegation headed by the Director of Agricultural Policy of Cheongyang County of South Chungcheong Province, Mr. Kim Dek Hwan.

During the meeting, Ambassador A.Ismailova suggested considering the possibility of attracting citizens of the Kyrgyz Republic to seasonal agricultural work. The Ambassador noted the great labor potential of the citizens of the Kyrgyz Republic and the great interest of the citizens of the Kyrgyz Republic in finding employment in the Republic of Korea. She stressed that the Kyrgyz side, if necessary, is ready to consider the possibility of concluding an appropriate bilateral agreement on this issue, including on preliminary training of citizens before sending them to work in the Republic of Korea.

In turn, the Director of Agricultural Policy of Cheongyang County of South Chungcheong Province, Mr. Kim Dek Hwan, confirmed the readiness of the Korean side to consider the issue raised by the Kyrgyz side, as well as to provide appropriate assistance.

The Embassy continues to actively work to attract citizens of the Kyrgyz Republic to seasonal agricultural work with other provinces and districts of the Republic of Korea.
