The Ambassador of the Kyrgyz Republic to the Republic of Korea, Aida Ismailova, met with government officials, fellows of the KOICA program

On December 2, 2023, at the Embassy of the Kyrgyz Republic in the Republic of Korea Ambassador Aida Ismailova met with Kyrgyz government officials who are fellows of the Korean International Cooperation Agency (KOICA) program. This event provided a unique opportunity to discuss the results and prospects of cooperation between Kyrgyz Republic and Republic of Korea in the field of education and professional development experience.

During the meeting, students studying at various universities in Korea under the KOICA program presented a detailed overview of their studies, focusing on selected programs and research papers.

Ambassador A.Ismailova stressed the importance of applying the experience gained in favor of the development of Kyrgyzstan and strengthening bilateral relations between the countries, and also put forward a proposal to create an expert group consisting of students and graduates of the KOICA program in order to assist Kyrgyz state authorities in preparing project applications for projects of the Official Development Program (ODA). This proposal is aimed at maximizing the use of acquired knowledge and experience to solve urgent problems and challenges facing the country.

At the end of the meeting, Ambassador A.Ismailova expressed confidence that the exchange of knowledge and experience between the Kyrgyz Republic and the Republic of Korea will continue, contributing to the sustainable development of both countries and strengthening friendly relations between them.
