During the meeting, the parties highly appreciated the intensification of cooperation between Kyrgyzstan and the KT Corporation.

Ambassador A. Ismailova noted the importance of signing, during the development by the Embassy, an Agreement on the creation of a joint venture on a project to create a financial (payment) infrastructure, which is an important step in exiting the “shadow” economy, which is beginning to be implemented in the Kyrgyz Republic at this time. She expressed gratitude for the development of the “National Digital Transformation Strategy”.

She emphasized that a number of grant projects to improve the country’s energy system are also being developed jointly with KT in Kyrgyzstan. She proposed to consider the implementation of projects with the Korean side to create data centers and educational IT centers.

Chief Executive Officer Youngshub Kim, in turn, noted interest in further cooperation of the company with the Kyrgyz side.

In conclusion, A. Ismailova presented the trade and economic potential of the country and invited Youngshub Kim to visit the Kyrgyz Republic.
