The Ambassadors of the Central Asian countries accredited in Seoul meet with the First Vice Minister of foreign Affairs of South Korea Mr. Choi Jong Kun

On October 28, 2020, a meeting was held between the First Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs of South Korea, Mr. Choi Jong Kun and the Ambassadors of the Central Asian countries accredited in Seoul.

During the meeting, upcoming important events were discussed, in particular, the participation of the sides in the work of the International Forum within the initiative of the President of South Korea Moon Jae-in "New Northern Policy" and the Cooperation Forum "Central Asia - Republic of Korea".

The ambassadors raised a number of pressing issues, including facilitating travel for Central Asian citizens to South Korea in light of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Ambassador of the Kyrgyz Republic to South Korea Dinara Kemelova informed participants about the gradual stabilization of the internal political situation in the Kyrgyz Republic and the return of political processes to the constitutional track. The adherence of the Kyrgyz Republic to fulfillment of all previously assumed international obligations was especially noted.

An agreement was reached to hold consultations in this format on a regular basis.
