Ambassador Kubanychbek Omuraliev discussed with the Deputy Foreign Minister of Turkey Yavuz Selim Kyran the issues of protecting the rights and interests, including facilitation of the rules for the stay of citizens of Kyrgyzstan in Turkey

On December 29, 2020, the Ambassador of the Kyrgyz Republic to Turkey Kubanychbek Omuraliev met with the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkey Yavuz Selim Kyran.

During the meeting, the parties discussed issues of protecting rights and interests, including facilitation of the rules for the stay of citizens of Kyrgyzstan in Turkey. Ambassador Omuraliev kindly requested to consider the issue of further simplification or cancellation of the visa regime and registration of job permissions.

In connection with the curfew in Turkey, Ambassador Omuraliev asked for assistance in obtaining permission from the competent authorities of Turkey for the movement of citizens of the Kyrgyz Republic in Turkey during the early elections of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic and the Referendum on January 10, 2021.

In order to protect the rights and interests of citizens of our country living in Antalya province and neighboring regions, Kubanychbek Omuraliev expressed a request to expedite consideration of the issue of opening a consular office of the Kyrgyz Republic in Antalya.
