On June 9, 2021, the official meeting ceremony of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic Sadyr Zhaparov with the President of the Republic of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdogan was held in Ankara.

The cortege of Sadyr Zhaparov accompanied by mounted cavalry arrived at the Presidential Complex in Ankara. Recep Tayyip Erdogan welcomed the President of the Kyrgyz Republic.

The heads of state greeted each other, after which the national anthems of Kyrgyzstan and Turkey were played.

Following the report of the Guard Regiment Ceremonial Guard, the leaders of Kyrgyzstan and Turkey marched along the Honor Guard. President Sadyr Zhaparov greeted the soldiers in Turkish: "Merhaba, asker!"

Heads of state later introduced the members of their official delegations and had their photos taken in front of national flags.

After the official ceremony, Sadyr Zhaparov and Recep Tayyip Erdoğan started face-to-face meetings at the Presidential Office of Turkey.
