On January 31, 2022, Ambassador Kubanychbek Omuraliev met with Mr. Halil Afsarata, Chief Advisor to the Vice-President of the Republic of Turkey H.E. Fuat Oktay.

At the meeting, the parties discussed the implementation of the agreements reached within the framework of the 10th meeting of the Kyrgyz-Turkish Intergovernmental Commission on Trade and Economic Cooperation (IGC), and the implementation of the Action Plan for economic cooperation between the Kyrgyz Republic and the Republic of Turkey, adopted at the said meeting of the IGC.

Directly during the meeting, the parties resolved a number of issues within the framework of the Kyrgyz-Turkish IGC and agreed to accelerate the implementation of the final document of the IGC.
