On February 3, 2022, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kyrgyz Republic to the Republic of Turkey Kubanychbek Omuraliev met with the Chairman of the Committee on International Relations of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey Akif Çagatay Kılıç.

The parties noted the importance of inter-parliamentary cooperation, particularly between the relevant committees of the parliaments of Kyrgyzstan and Turkey. In order to develop cooperation and strengthen ties, they agreed to organize a visit of a delegation of the Committee on Foreign Affairs, Defense, Security and Migration of the Jogorku Kenesh (Parliament) of the Kyrgyz Republic to Turkey in spring of this year.
