Working visit of the Secretary of the Security Council of the Kyrgyz Republic Mr. Marat Imankulov to Türkiye

    Secretary of the Security Council of the Kyrgyz Republic Marat Imankulov on June 29-30, 2022 in Ankara took part in the meeting of the Heads of the Secretariats of the Security Councils of the member states and observer states of the Organization of Turkic States, along with representatives of Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Turkey, Uzbekistan and Hungary.

   The participants of the meeting exchanged views on regional issues and discussed multilateral cooperation in terms of security in the energy, transport, trade, economic, food fields and the fight against terrorism. At the meeting of the Secretaries of the Security Councils, Mr. Imankulov outlined a number of challenges and threats relevant to the countries of the Organization of Turkic States, including terrorism, extremism, drug trafficking, illegal migration and weapons trafficking.

  Within the framework of the meeting, Secretary of the Security Council of the Kyrgyz Republic Mr. Imankulov and Heads of the Security Councils of the countries of the Organization of Turkic States were received by President Mr. Erdogan, and also met with the Minister of Internal Affairs of Turkey Soylu and other officials.
