On December 28, 2022, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic H.E. Mr. Zheenbek Kulubaev met with Prof. Dr. Fahrettin Altun, the Presidency's Director of Communications of the Republic of Türkiye and chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Kyrgyz-Turkish University «Manas».

In the course of the meeting, parties exchanged views on current issues of bilateral cooperation and the implementation of agreements previously reached at the highest level.

Minister Kulubaev positively noted the development of a strategic partnership between the Kyrgyz Republic and the Republic of Türkiye, based on the common history, culture and language of the brotherly nations. The Head of the Foreign Ministry of the Kyrgyz Republic noted that the Kyrgyz-Turkish Manas University is one of the best educational institutions, which serves as a mechanism for strengthening Kyrgyz-Turkish friendship and provides high-quality education to students from Kyrgyzstan, Türkiye and other foreign countries.
