On March 13, 2023, Ambassador Ruslan Kazakbaev met with Mayor of the Çankaya Municipality of Ankara, Alper Taşdelen.

During the meeting, special attention was paid to the development of Kyrgyz-Turkish cooperation at the level of provinces and regions, cities and districts. In this context, the parties discussed the issue of organizing a visit of the delegation of the municipality of Çankaya, headed by the Mayor, to Kyrgyzstan and agreed to establish twinning relations between Çankaya and one of the cities of Kyrgyzstan.

Along with this, Ambassador Kazakbaev, noting the merits of the Mayor Taşdelen in strengthening friendship between the fraternal peoples, expressed gratitude for the opening of the Chyngyz Aitmatov Park in Çankaya.

In conclusion, the parties confirmed their mutual interest in continuing further fruitful cooperation.
