On March 2, 2024, The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic Mr. Zheenbek Kulubaev met with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic Türkiye Mr. Hakan Fidan.

During the meeting discussed the implementation of the agreements reached during the official visit of Minister Mr. Hakan Fidan to Kyrgyzstan in January and the official visit of Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic Mr. Akylbek Zhaparov to Türkiye in February.

The sides also exchanged views on topical issues of Kyrgyz-Turkish cooperation in the light of the upcoming visit of President of the Republic of Türkiye Mr. Recep Tayyip Erdogan to Kyrgyzstan and the good basis of the next meeting of the Supreme Council for Strategic Cooperation at the Heads of State’s level.

At the end of the meeting, the parties expressed their readiness to continue active interaction in the spirit of brotherhood and strategic partnership.
