On March 12, 2024, at the Embassy of the Kyrgyz Republic in the Republic of Turkiye, Ambassador R.A. Kazakbaev met with the delegation of the Kyrgyz Republic, headed by the Deputy Minister of Justice of the Kyrgyz Republic Orozbek Sydykov, who arrived in Turkiye to exchange experience in the field of justice.

During the meeting, issues of cooperation between the Kyrgyz Republic and the Republic of Turkiye in the field of justice, legal interaction, provision of mutual legal assistance, as well as exchange of experience in the field of mediation and probation were discussed in detail.

The progress in implementing the agreements reached during the official visit of the Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic Akylbek Japarov to Turkiye in February 2024 and the bilateral meeting of the Ministers of Justice of the two countries A.Bayetov and Y. Tunç in Ankara were also discussed.

Ambassador R.Kazakbaev especially emphasized the importance of deepening interaction at the level of leadership of the ministries and departments of the two countries to effectively resolve current issues, exchange experience and promote joint projects.

Deputy Minister O. Sydykov informed that the Kyrgyz side has prepared proposals for further strengthening cooperation in the field of justice.

The parties also exchanged information on signed and planned agreements between Kyrgyzstan and Turkiye and agreed on further joint work.
