On September 3, 2019, there was held the meeting of Ambassador, Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kyrgyz Republic to the Republic of Turkey Kubanychbek Omuraliev with General Manager of Turkey Radio and Television Corporation Ibragim Eren.
I.Eren informed K. Omuraliev about the activities and opportunities of TRT. In order to inform regarding the tourism potential of the Kyrgyz Republic and attract investment, Ambassador K. Omuraliev suggested I. Eren broadcast videos about Kyrgyzstan on TRT channels, as well as make reports on nature, historical places, and culture of our country. K.Omuraliev also suggested broadcasting the mentioned videos not only on TRT Avaz but also on the main channel of TRT.
Parties discussed the participation of TRT in covering the event on the occasion of the closing of the year "Osh is the cultural capital of the Turkic world ” I. Eren noted that TRT will cover this event.
The issue of exchange of experience in the field of media was also discussed in the meeting. The parties agreed to continue the internship of Kyrgyz journalists in TRT.
