Turkey sent humanitarian aid to Kyrgyzstan to fight coronavirus infection

Following a telephone conversation between President of the Kyrgyz Republic Sooronbay Jeenbekov and President of the Republic of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdogan on July 6, 2020, the Turkish side decided to send humanitarian aid to Kyrgyzstan.

On July 7, 2020, the Memorandum of Understanding was signed between the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic, represented by the Embassy of the Kyrgyz Republic in Turkey and the Government of the Republic of Turkey, represented by the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Turkey, on the provision of humanitarian assistance in the field of health, according to which the Turkish side will send humanitarian aid to Kyrgyzstan in the form of the following medical equipment and facilities: 20 artificial lung ventilator (ALV), 50 oxygen concentrators, 20 thousand sets of PCR test, 20 thousand sets of reagents for detecting the virus, 50 thousand protective masks N95, 100 thousand surgical masks, 35 thousand protective suits, 2 thousand protective masks - visors and 10 thousand packages of hydroxychloroquine tablets.

Sending humanitarian aid to Kyrgyzstan will be carried out on July 15,2020, through the cargo of "Turkish Airlines".
