On August 12, 2019, at the Representative Office of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation in Yekaterinburg, a meeting of the Consul General of the Kyrgyz Republic in Yekaterinburg B. Salimzhanov with the First Deputy Head of the Ural Customs Administration A. Frolov was held.

The meeting was organized in order to establish contact and discuss issues of the state and prospects of cooperation in the field of customs interaction between the parties. During the meeting, B. Salimzhanov expressed a request to assist in the early completion of the verification procedures in respect of garments of Kyrgyz manufacturers at the customs points of the Ural Federal District of the Russian Federation.

А. Frolov had given information on the basic terms for the unhindered passage of imported goods, including Kyrgyz garments, through an inspection of the Ural customs service. During the meeting, an agreement was reached on enhancing the further relationship for the effective implementation of mutually beneficial cooperation between the parties.
