In 2016 at another Leaf fall festival the Kyrgyz movie «Will of the Father» has won a special prize of Executive committee of the CIS of «Cinema without borders» - for development of cultural cooperation and strengthening of friendship between the people and a special prize of the mayor's office Minsk.

The movie «Heavenly to a Kochevya» by the director Mirlan Abdykalykov is awarded a prize of the President of Belarus «For Humanity and Spirituality at Cinema» at the XXII Minsk international Listapad Film Festival.

Within the celebration of an anniversary of the victory in the Great Patriotic War, every year on May 5 the Embassy together with administration of Oktyabrskyi district of Minsk will organize a meeting the requiem devoted to memory of the Hero of the Soviet Union of Zhumash Asanaliev. He has heroically died in the territory of Belarus in 1944.

Considerable work has been carried out on perpetuation of memory of the kyrgyz writer Chyngyz Aitmatov and on the occasion of the celebration of his 90th anniversary – in March, 2018. The Embassy has organized an exhibition of artists of Kyrgyzstan in National art museum of Belarus devoted to Chyngyz Aitmatov, the book by the writer «The day lasts more than a hundred» published in Belarusian language.

On April 6, 2018 on fields of the meeting of the Ministers of foreign affairs of the CIS was organized the photo exhibition «Ch.Aitmatov – Diplomat». The exhibition is devoted to diplomatic activity of the world famous Kyrgyz writer. Photos and archival materials open the separate moments of his work as the head of diplomatic mission of the USSR, Russia in Luxembourg, and then the Ambassador of Kyrgyzstan in the capital of Europe – Brussels. Materials of an exhibition have been collected from the copy of own hand-written autobiography and from rare photos when he was in the circle of colleagues, diplomats and famous foreign cultural figures and arts. The separate stand to the viewer has submitted the photochronicle about the meeting of intellectuals of the world, which has received the name «Issyk Kul Forum», which was initiated by Ch.Aitmatov.

According to the decision of the Minsk municipal council of deputies, No. 49 on May 2018 one of the parks of Minsk called «The Park of Ch.Aitmatov». The area of the park of 19.6 hectares, from them 2.7 – a water smooth surface. The name of the park is introduced on the map of Minsk.

The Belarusian fighters and representatives of the leading media of Belarus also participate in the Third World Games of Nomads, which will take place from September 2 to September 8, 2018.
