On February 8, 2019, “Brussels Holiday Fair”, one of the largest tourism exhibitions in Europe, was opened in Brussels, where, with the support of the Embassy of the Kyrgyz Republict to the Kingdom of Belgium, the domestic travel company Nomadstan presented for the first time touristic potential, culture and lifestyle of the Kyrgyz Republic. The opening ceremony was attended by representatives of the diplomatic corps, the media, as well as the largest companies involved in the tourism industry.

This year in the largest exhibition complex in Belgium “Brussels Expo” there are about 350 exhibitors that offer visitors about 800 tourist destinations around the world

According to the organizers of the tourist exhibition, in 2018 more than 106 thousand people visited the Brussels Holiday Fair. It is expected that in 2019 there will even more participants visiting Fair. The fair exhibition will be held for three days from February 8 to 10, 2019.

At the same time, as part of the work being carried out to promote the tourist potential of Kyrgyzstan in the countries of accreditation, in January of this year Embassy of the Kyrgyz Republic in Brussels together with travel companies from Kyrgyzstan “Travel Land” and “Kyrgyz Muras” also participated in tourism fairs in Belgium and the Netherlands, including Amsterdam Fair for Special Journey 2019, Vacantiebeurs 2019 , as well as “Special Journeys Breda” 2019.
