On June 8, 2023 the opening ceremony of the office of Honorary Consul of the Kyrgyz Republic in Middenbeemster, Kingdom of the Netherlands with consular district, which includes the province of North Holland, was held.

In his speech the representative of the Embassy, congratulated the Honorary Consul on the official opening, handed over the accreditation card to J.Koshoeva and thanked those present at the opening ceremony and noted that the opening of the Honorary Consulate is an important event in the development of bilateral relations, which was also evidence of the high level of relations between the two countries.

At the same time, it was noted that the opening of the Honorary Consulate would be a significant contribution to the enhancement of the bilateral trade-economic and cultural-humanitarian relations.

In turn, Honorary Consul J.Koshoeva underlined that the opening of the Honorary Consulate of Kyrgyzstan is an important step in the development of business relations between the two countries. She said that this institution will help to protect the rights and interests of Kyrgyz citizens, enhance economic cooperation, investment, development of tourism and cultural exchange.

Representatives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Netherlands, local authorities, business and social circles and representatives of the Kyrgyz diaspora in the Netherlands were invited to the official opening ceremony.
