On January 30, 2024, within the framework of participation in the Investment Forum “Global Gateway” Brussels, Belgium, Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic - Minister of Water Resources, Agriculture and Processing Industry B.Torobaev made a working visit to Flanders in order to get acquainted with advanced technologies in the agricultural sector.

During his stay in Belgium, Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic B.Torobaev visited a large enterprise of Flanders in Oudenaarde, specializing in breeding of Belgian white-blue breed of cattle.

Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic B.Torobaev expressed readiness to further deepen cooperation between the two countries in the field of agriculture as the next stage in the development of mutually beneficial relations between Belgium and the Kyrgyz Republic.

In addition, during the visit a Memorandum of Understanding was signed between the Ministry of Economy and Commerce of the Kyrgyz Republic and the Belgian company "Ecodynamics".

The visit of the Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic B.Torobaev demonstrated not only the importance of the development of trade and economic relations between the two countries, but also opened new horizons for cooperation in agriculture, including the exchange of advanced technologies.
