The fifth meeting of the European Union and Central Asian Special Representatives and Envoys on Afghanistan was held on 14 February 2024 in Bishkek. The Special Representative of the UN Secretary-General for Afghanistan and Head of the UN Assistance Mission in Afghanistan Roza Otunbaeva also took part in the meeting.

The participants discussed current developments in Afghanistan, the UN-led process ahead of the second Doha meeting. They also held online exchange of opinions with United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime and diplomatic missions of the Central Asian countries based in Kabul.
