Deputies of the Jogorku Kenesh of the Kyrgyz Republic Alisher Erbaev and Nurzhigit Kadyrbekov paid a working visit to Brussels

From May 14 to 17, 2024, deputies of the Jogorku Kenesh of the Kyrgyz Republic Alisher Erbaev and Nurzhigit Kadyrbekov paid a working visit to Brussels. During the visit, the people's elected representatives took part in the round tables "Protection of democratic values: the importance of security sector governance and implementation of parliamentary control" and "Responding to the crisis and increasing the stability of democratic societies - actions and initiatives" organized by the Consortium for Peace Cooperation and the Geneva Centre for Security Sector Governance Studies.

Also A. Erbaev and N. Kadyrbekov within the framework of their working visit familiarized themselves with the activities of the Embassy of the Kyrgyz Republic in the Kingdom of Belgium and discussed with its staff the issues of strengthening political-economic and cultural-humanitarian relations between Kyrgyzstan and Belgium.

In addition, the deputies visited the museum-cabinet of the outstanding writer and diplomat Chingiz Aitmatov, who worked as Ambassador of Kyrgyzstan in Belgium, and left their wishes in the book of Guests of Honor.
