On June 13, 2024 Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kyrgyz Republic Mr. Aidit Erkin has presented his Letters of Credentials to the His Royal Highness Grand Duke of Luxembourg Henri.

During the audience, Ambassador Aidit Erkin conveyed to His Royal Highness the Grand Duke of Luxembourg Henri greetings from the President of the Kyrgyz Republic Mr. Sadyr Zhaparov, informed about the socio-economic reforms carried out in Kyrgyzstan, and presented a book-album with the image of heroes from the works of the great Kyrgyz writer Chyngyz Aitmatov.

In turn, His Royal Highness Grand Duke Henri of Luxembourg noted with special warmth that he had the pleasure of meeting Chyngyz Aitmatov, in whose honor one of the streets of the capital of the Grand Duchy is named, and expressed the hope that ties between Luxembourg and Kyrgyzstan would be developed and strengthened both bilaterally and within the framework of cooperation with the European Union.

In addition, within the framework of the credential’s presentation ceremony, Ambassador Mr. Aidit Erkin held meetings with representatives of the Office of the Grand Duke of Luxembourg, the Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs, Defense, Cooperation and Foreign Trade, as well as the Luxembourg Chamber of Commerce, where the prospects of political, trade and economic cooperation were outlined, as well as discussed issues of regional and global agenda.
