The 1st meeting of the inter ministerial Kyrgyz-Emirati consultations in the consular sphere was held in Bishkek

On August 8, 2023, the 1st meeting of the inter ministerial Kyrgyz-Emirati consultations in the consular sphere at the level of heads of consular services of the two countries was held in Bishkek.

During the consultations, the Parties, reaffirming their mutual interest in expanding bilateral relations, discussed topical issues of Kyrgyz-Emirati cooperation in the consular sphere. At the same time, special emphasis was made on the possibility of simplifying the travel of citizens of the Kyrgyz Republic to the United Arab Emirates, expanding the legal framework in the consular sphere, as well as further interaction on the exchange of experience in the field of digitalization.

The consultations were held in a constructive atmosphere and in the spirit of mutual understanding, as a result of which both sides reached agreement on the further development and strengthening of bilateral cooperation in the consular direction.
