On 22^nd June, 2019 the Consul General of the Kyrgyz Republic in Istanbul Erkin Sopokov took part in the opening ceremony of the Worldwide Competition of Mental Arithmetic WAMAS-2019, which took place in Antalya with the participation of more than 60 children from Kyrgyzstan with an age range from 5 to 16 years.

In his speech, the Consul General E.Sopokov noted that children are our brightest future and the country will always share great involvement in the development of children in all areas of education, wishing the participants of this competition success and great victories.

This competition was organized by the World Association of Mental Arithmetic Schools (WAMAS), which was attended by more than 600 children from 16 countries, including from the Kyrgyzstan, UAE, Kazakhstan, France, Iran, Iraq, Russia, Belarus, Ukraine, Armenia, and etc.
