The Kyrgyz Republic and the United Arab Emirates signed basic agreements aimed at the development of economic cooperation, including agreements on the protection of investments, on the avoidance of double taxation, on air traffic, on economic cooperation.

Since the opening of the Embassy of the Kyrgyz Republic in the UAE, practical steps have been taken to develop and expand the horizons of economic cooperation, by initiating the tools and foundations of such development, holding joint business forums, participating in exhibitions and fairs, and attracting investments.

February 16-18, 2016 - The Kyrgyz delegation led by the Director of the Investment Promotion Agency under the Ministry of Economy of the Kyrgyz Republic, A.Sazbakov took part in the Global Business Forum of the CIS countries in Dubai.

April 13-15, 2016 - the first Kyrgyz-UAE business forum was held in Bishkek under the patronage of the UAE Energy Minister.

May 24, 2017 - The Second Business Forum was held in Bishkek between businessmen of the Kyrgyz Republic and the United Arab Emirates.

November 22, 2017 - Vice President of «Ayu Holding» B.Tulobaev took part in the Investment Forum of Asian business leaders.

November 29 - December 5, 2017 - an exhibition-fair of tourism opportunities of the Kyrgyz Republic in the UAE was held.

July 21, 2018 - The delegation of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Fujairah took part in the International Issyk-Kul Forum.

June 20-21, 2018 - A seminar for state bodies of the Kyrgyz Republic in the field of accreditation, as well as the business community of the Kyrgyz Republic-exporters of domestic products, organized by Ministry of Economy of the Kyrgyz Republic and International Organization for Halal Accreditation (IHAF) in Bishkek.

July 19-20, 2018 - a working visit to the Kyrgyz Republic of the delegation of the company “DP World”.

August 1, 2018 - Working visit of the Minister of Economy of the Kyrgyz Republic O.Pankratov to the United Arab Emirates.

September 2-3, 2018 - Working visit to the Kyrgyz Republic and participation as an honorary guest in the Opening Ceremony of the 3 World Nomad Games by the Executive Director of the Dubai Investment Corporation Muhammad Ibrahim Al Shaibani.
