On November 3 2021 held a meeting of an Officer of the Embassy of the Kyrgyz Republic in the Federal Republic of Germany with the Head of the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) in Berlin Kay Franke.

During the meeting the sides discussed the cooperation between Kyrgyzstan and Germany in the framework of the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD). They emphasized the importance of expanding further cooperation within the DAAD and outlined plans for future development to intensify the participation of Kyrgyz representatives in scholarship programmes of the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD).

In Bishkek there is a Representative Office of the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD), which was established in 1992. The DAAD provides scholarships to the citizens of the Kyrgyz Republic every year for Bachelor's and Master's degrees, doctoral studies in Germany, summer courses in Kyrgyzstan, as well as within a partnership between schools of Kyrgyzstan and Germany.
