An official reception dedicated to the 28th anniversary of the independence of Kyrgyzstan was held in Nur Sultan

The event was attended by representatives of the Presidential Administration of the Republic of Kazakhstan, members of the Majilis and Senate of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan, representatives of ministries and departments of the Republic of Kazakhstan, ambassadors accredited to Nur Sultan, heads of international and public organizations, business structures, Kyrgyz students, media representatives, as well as representatives of the Kyrgyz diaspora living in Kazakhstan.
Welcoming speeches were made by the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kyrgyz Republic to the Republic of Kazakhstan Zh. Kulubaev and Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan M.Syzdykov.
In his speech Zh.Kulubaev noted that relations between Kyrgyzstan and Kazakhstan are a worthy example of successful interaction and cooperation between two fraternal peoples. They are cemented by an unprecedented level of trust in each other, the coincidence of conceptual approaches to a wide range of international problems and the desire for joint development.
In his turn M.Syzdykov noted that Kyrgyzstan and Kazakhstan, being the closest states, have built a strong and comprehensive partnership system based on respect for state sovereignty and openness, trust and mutually beneficial cooperation.
As part of the event an exhibition of paintings of the artists-members of the Eurasian Creative Guild was organized. Their works were created in the open air as part of the visit of artists in July this year to the Kyrgyz Republic. Video clips about Kyrgyzstan were demonstrated and Kyrgyz national music was performed by the national ensemble to the guests.
