The President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kassym-Zhomart Tokayev arrived today in the Kyrgyz Republic on a state visit today.

At the Manas International Airport the President of Kazakhstan was met by President of the Kyrgyz Republic Sooronbay Zheenbekov.

The state flags of the Kyrgyz Republic and the Republic of Kazakhstan were hung on the flagpoles of the airport, and a guard of honor was built.

Within the framework of the state visit, Kassym-Zhomart Tokayev will hold a meeting with President Sooronbay Zheenbekov. Also, the Fifth meeting of the Supreme Interstate Council of the Kyrgyz Republic and the Republic of Kazakhstan will be held as a result of which a number of bilateral documents will be signed.

Also, within the framework of the state visit of the President of Kazakhstan, Sooronbay Zheenbekov and Kasym-Zhomart Tokayev will visit the Ata-Beyit historical and memorial complex and the Chyngyz Aitmatov House-Museum.

In addition, Kassym-Zhomart Tokayev will take part in the regular session of the Collective Security Council of the Collective Security Treaty Organization, which will be held on Thursday, November 28, in Bishkek.
