On November 28, 2019 in Nur Sultan the Deputy Minister of Justice of the Kyrgyz Republic M. Kanulkulov took part in the conference “Strengthening Integration in Central Asia for the Prosperity of the Region”, dedicated to the launch of three new regional programs of the European Union (EU) on trade development, rule of law and business appeal in Central Asia.

This event was organized by the European Union together with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Council of Europe, the International Trade Center and the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) with the aim of developing common approaches for the public and private sectors of the EU and Central Asian member states to achieve balanced growth in the Central Asian region .

The forum is also attended by government delegations from Kazakhstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan.

The event was held as part of the new EU Strategy for Central Asia, which was adopted in June 2019 and presented at the 15th Meeting of EU-CA Foreign Ministers in Bishkek on July 7, 2019.

During the conference, the launch of three large-scale multi-year programs financed by the European Union with a total budget of 28 million euros was officially announced. They are aimed at supporting trade, the rule of law, investment and economic growth in Central Asian countries.
