On April 20, 2022, a round table dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the Kyrgyz Republic and the People's Republic of China was held at the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences.

The event was attended by Ambassador of the Kyrgyz Republic in China K. Baktygulova, Director of the Institute of Russia, Eastern Europe and Central Asia of the CAON Sun Zhuangzhi, diplomats of the Embassy, ​​experts on international relations. The participants discussed issues of Kyrgyz-Chinese bilateral cooperation in the political, trade, economic, cultural and humanitarian spheres, as well as in the field of security. At the same time, the participants exchanged views on some issues on the international agenda.

Based on the results of the round table, a decision was made to continue maintaining contacts in order to develop and deepen the Kyrgyz-Chinese relations of strategic partnership.
