The Ministry informs about the change in the requirements of the Algorithms of actions on preventing the importation and spread of coronavirus infection COVID-19 for foreign citizens and stateless persons arriving in the Kyrgyz Republic from January 13, 2021.

According to the adopted algorithms, citizens of Kyrgyz Republic, foreign citizens and stateless persons are allowed to board on aircraft flying to the Kyrgyz Republic only with the negative PCR test result, indicating the absence of coronavirus infection, taken within last 72 hours before boarding (from the time of sample submission).

After arriving in the Kyrgyz Republic, the employees of the sanitary and quarantine points (SQP) will also check the availability of PCR test results and body temperature of passengers when crossing the border.

On board the aircraft, flight attendants of airlines give passengers a questionnaire of arrivals in Kyrgyzstan. It is handed over together with the results of PCR testing to employees of sanitary and quarantine posts at the airport.

In case of expiration of the PCR test (72 hours) for objective reasons related to the duration of the flight or flight delay, foreign citizens and stateless persons are required to undergo a PCR test at the place of arrival (at the airport terminals).

These requirements also apply for citizens arriving in the country by road. “Questionnaire of arriving in the Kyrgyz Republic” is filled out at checkpoints across the State border of the Kyrgyz Republic.

The Ministry also reminds this requirement does not apply to employees of diplomatic missions and consular offices of foreign states in the Kyrgyz Republic, international organizations and their missions located in the territory of the Kyrgyz Republic, as well as members of their families (with advance notification of their arrival through the Ministry of Foreign Affairs), members of delegations of foreign states and international organizations traveling at the invitation of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and other competent state bodies, aircraft crew members, as well as children of preschool age (up to seven years old inclusive), accompanied by parents or legal representatives, international observers of the election process, traveling to the Kyrgyz Republic.

In this regard, the Ministry recommends planning travel to the Kyrgyz Republic in advance.
