On June 24, 2022, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic Zheenbek Kulubaev invited the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the State of Qatar to the Kyrgyz Republic Abdullah bin Ahmad Al-Sulaiti and discussed topical issues of Kyrgyz-Qatari relations.

Minister Zh. Kulubaev noted the importance of expanding bilateral cooperation in the political, trade and economic, cultural and humanitarian spheres between the two countries, as well as expressed the interest of the Kyrgyz Republic in the implementation of joint projects and interaction by provision of mutual support within the framework of international and regional organizations with the State of Qatar.

Particular attention was paid to the issue of strengthening the political dialogue between the two countries by organization of mutual visits at the highest and high levels and holding joint events.

The parties agreed to carry out coordinated work and maintain contacts to implement the reached agreements.
