On November 24, 2022, in the town of Weidenbach Federal State of Bavaria, the Ambassador of the Kyrgyz Republic to Germany Mr. O. Tekebaev visited the Higher Agricultural School for Agriculture and the Triesdorf State Technical Agricultural School for the training of secondary technical personnel in the field of agriculture and held a meeting with the director of schools Mr. Fritz Gronauer- Weddige.

During the meeting, Ambassador Mr. O.Tekebaev noted that the development of agriculture, the training of professional and technical personnel in the field of agriculture is of great importance for Kyrgyzstan. In this regard, he expressed the interest of the Kyrgyz side in studying the experience of the German experience in training secondary technical personnel in this area.

School director Mr. Fritz Gronauer-Weddige provided information about the activities of his schools, which mainly train local German students. He said that after graduating from an educational institution, about 70% of graduates work on their farms, and 30% are employed in various organizations in the field of agriculture. The schools also have experience of working with other countries.

During the meeting, the possibilities of cooperation of secondary technical educational institutions in Kyrgyzstan with the above schools in Triesdorf were discussed.

For reference: Triesdorf of the Federal State of Bavaria is a unique educational center where schoolchildren and students are trained in the fields of agriculture, food management, food production and environmental protection. Triesdorf has nine vocational schools, two faculties of the University of Weihenstephan-Triesdorf: the Faculty of Agriculture and the Faculty of Environmental Protection. The State Technical School of Agriculture, within the framework of its two-year education, trains technical engineers to become commercially oriented agricultural entrepreneurs, and conducts advanced training for agricultural specialists. In addition to production technologies, they deepen their knowledge in the fields of finance, law and management. The main focus of the school is business administration and corporate governance.
