Today, June 1, 2022, Ambassador of the Kyrgyz Republic to the People's Republic of China Kanaiym Baktygulova took part in the opening ceremony of the Forum "Cooperation for Poverty Reduction and Rural Development", which took place via videoconference.

This event was organized by the People's Government of Guangdong Province with the support of the All-China Youth Federation together with the SCO China Committee for Good Neighborliness, Friendship and Cooperation.

In her speech, Ambassador K. Baktygulova noted that the topic of today's event in the current conditions of the COVID-19 pandemic is very relevant and timely, taking into account that all countries of the world are faced with the need to overcome the socio-economic consequences of the pandemic.

Ambassador K. Baktygulova spoke in detail about the measures taken by the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic for socio-economic development in the country.

Ambassador K. Baktygulova expressed confidence that the platform of this Forum will significantly expand the scope of interaction and intensify both bilateral and multilateral cooperation in the fight against poverty and the development of regions.

The event was attended by heads of state bodies of China, representatives of diplomatic missions, young entrepreneurs in the field of scientific and technological innovation, representatives of international organizations and the media.
