On July 12-13, 2022 the IX China-Central Asia Cooperation Forum was held.

At the opening ceremony, the Speaker of the Jogorku Kenesh of the Kyrgyz Republic T. Mamytov spoke as an honorary guest of the Forum via videoconferencing. The Speaker emphasized that the Kyrgyz Republic attaches priority to cooperation with the People's Republic of China and noted that the Kyrgyz side supports such important concepts as the Global Development Initiative and the Global Security Initiative put forward by Chinese President Xi Jinping. He expressed hope for further close and fruitful cooperation between the parties.

The participants of the event discussed issues in the field of agriculture, education, and the digital economy, as well as regional cooperation to promote common development and joint response to modern challenges, as well as the results of joint work in the field of women's development over the past 30 years.

At the end of the event, the Initiative following the results of the IX China-Central Asia Cooperation Forum was adopted.
