On March 24, 2023, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kyrgyz Republic to the Republic of India Askar Beshimov presented his Credentials to the President of the Republic of India, Draupadi Murmu.

During the conversation main issues of the traditionally friendly Kyrgyz-Indian relations of strategic partnership were discussed.

President of India Draupadi Murmu welcomed Ambassador Askar Beshimov and wished good luck and fruitful work for the benefit of strengthening friendly relations between India and the Kyrgyz Republic. The President especially noted the high level of cooperation in the education sector and expressed gratitude for the creation of favorable conditions for more than 15,000 Indian students in the universities of the Kyrgyz Republic.

Ambassador Askar Beshimov conveyed greetings and good wishes from the President of the Kyrgyz Republic Sadyr Zhaparov and expressed his readiness to make every effort to strengthen the Kyrgyz-Indian bilateral strategic partnership.

Draupadi Murmu conveyed greetings and good wishes to Sadyr Zhaparov and noted that the Indian side is looking forward to his visit to India this year.

Askar Beshimov emphasized the special importance of India in the current world political processes, taking into account India's chairmanship in the SCO and the G20. In this context, the parties noted that one of the main events of the current year in bilateral and multilateral relations between the Kyrgyz Republic and India will be the visit of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic Sadyr Japarov to participate in the SCO summit in July 2023.
