On August 1-2, 2019 Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kyrgyz Republic to the Republic of Kazakhstan Zh.Kulubaev took part in the first meeting of the Council on Relations with Compatriots Abroad with the participation of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic S.Zheenbekov.

At the Council meeting the new version of the law "On the basics of state policy to support compatriots abroad", the introduction of the national initiative "Meken-Kart", the program "Mekenim" have been discussed.

President of the Kyrgyz Republic S.Zheenbekov thanked compatriots for their contribution to strengthening ties between the countries.

The compatriots expressed their problems and suggestions. Requests were voiced to increase the number of consulates in some countries, to improve the quality of education of the population, and also to create conditions for compatriots who want to carry out activities in Kyrgyzstan.
