On February 13, 2020 the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kyrgyz Republic to the Republic of Kazakhstan Zheenbek Kulubaev met with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Egypt to the Republic of Kazakhstan Mrs. Manal Yehia El Shinnawi.

During the meeting, issues of bilateral cooperation between Kyrgyzstan and Egypt were discussed. In particular, the parties indicated the importance of further cooperation in the field of education, including in the field of religious education, as well as in the framework of Egypt's scholarship educational programs. Particular attention was paid to strengthening trade and economic contacts between countries.

Egyptian Ambassador in Kazakhstan Mrs.Manal El-Shinnawi informed about the upcoming April 7-9 in Egypt, an event in the format of B2B meetings for companies working in the field of pharmaceuticals, medicine, medical equipment and invited representatives of the Kyrgyz side to participate in this event.

The parties also discussed issues of interaction within the framework of international organizations and mutual support through UN institutions.
