South Korean clinic Himchan intends to cooperate with Kyrgyzstan in the field of health

On September 8, 2021, Ambassador Dinara Kemelova visited the South Korean clinic Himchan and met with the Director of the clinic Stefan Cho.

During the meeting, the Sides discussed the situation with the coronavirus of the two countries, exchanged views on promising areas of cooperation, and also expressed interest in implementing joint projects in the field of healthcare. The Ambassador Dinara Kemelova also proposed investing in projects in the territory of Kyrgyzstan in the field of healthcare, including diagnostic centers, clinics for joint diseases and rehabilitation centers.

The South Korean side is invited to establish cooperation with the National Center of Cardiology under the Ministry of Health of the Kyrgyz Republic by concluding the Protocol of Intent between the National Center of Cardiology under the Ministry of Health of the Kyrgyz Republic and Himchan clinic.

The Sides noted the importance of cooperation in the construction of hospitals and training of medical personnel. The Ambassador requested to consider the possibility of providing assistance in capacity building of Kyrgyz hospitals in the form of medical equipment.
