II Kurultai of Kyrgyz students studying in South Korea was held in Seoul

On November 24, 2019, II Kurultai of Kyrgyz students studying in universities of the Republic of Korea was held in Seoul. Kurultai was organized by the Kyrgyz Student Association in South Korea, led by Bolotbek Sulaimanov.

During the event, Kyrgyz students exchanged views and made presentations on the possibilities of entering Korean universities, obtaining state scholarships and further employment.

In the welcoming speech, the Ambassador of the Kyrgyz Republic to South Korea, Dinara Kemelova, noted the importance of returning students to Kyrgyzstan after graduation to use the knowledge for the benefit of the country's development and encouraged students to actively cooperate with the Embassy in conducting joint activities to promote a positive image of the country in South Korea.

Deputy of the Jogorku Kenesh of the Kyrgyz Republic A. Baatyrbekov, heads of non-governmental associations of Kyrgyz people in South Korea took part in the work of Kurultai as honored guests.

Students had the opportunity to ask questions to the Ambassador of Kyrgyzstan D.A. Kemelova and the member of Parliament Baatyrbekov A.B. and get answers on exciting topics, among which were the issues of training and staying of Kyrgyz citizens in South Korea, the consular direction, the interaction of Kyrgyzstan with the Republic of Korea, as well as the activities of the parliament and state institutions of the Kyrgyz Republic.
